Lunch?

I was just eating my typical bandster go-to lunch.
It is one foil pouch of tuna
1/2 a mushed avocado
tad of mayo
1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese
some almonds
w/ 2 slices of low fat mozzarella cheese (I use like bread)

Good protein & calcium, tastes good....
But it sure looks gross!

  1. Yeah, I don't think Martha Stewart would approve of the presentation. How many grams of protien is that?

  2. Thanks for sharing. I've got so many meal ideas saved on my computer to prepare for when it's my time to eat like a bandster.

  3. he-he ... Martha can suck it! (just kidding) it is 35g if I eat the whole thing.... but I get about 3/4 of it down most of the time... so 25-26g for lunch about 3x a week.
    not too shabby!
I just was laughing at how gross it looks but all I see is protein :)

  4. Thanks for sharing. I love the idea of consistency and strive to get there... it is one of the bugaboos of the band for me at this point. I can't tell you what I would be eating for lunch most days.
I know that consistency is a key to success so good on ya with the protein. Avocado is definitely a go to food for me too...

  5. Looks quite nice in a baby food kinda way lol. Good thinking though with mixing it up (the actual foods together, not the squishing it together!!) Nice and healthy meal there. xx

  6. I'm more concerned about taste than presentation. :) Thanks for sharing; I have added it to my recipe collection when I get off liquids, purees...

  8. Dear friend, that does look discusting! One of my nurse friends had me try a boiled egg white with the yolk replaced by hummus. I'm a huge hater of deviled eggs, so I was hesistant to give it a try... but it was definitely ok, and a great source of protein.

BTW, your car looks great and hope your homesickness is getting a little better.
